Hubert Gibbs grew up on the historic English estate of Tyntesfield. Having had success as a barrister and in industry, he has turned his attention towards producing films.
Educated at Eton and Oxford, Hubert initially trained as a lawyer, then worked in the UK securities industry with Williams de Broe and the Banque Bruxelles Lambert as an analyst in the small-cap UK and mid-cap European sectors. More recently, he has worked as a media marketing specialist at United Business and Media and as a business developer for the Russian Ministry of Science and Technology where he was instrumental in raising financing for new technology projects in the semi-conductor sector. He is currently assisting First Line Entertainment in packaging and financing a slate of low-budget US thriller films, the first two of which - "As Good As Dead" and "The Killing Jar" - have just completed principal photography. |
